West has also mastered the sippy cup recently. We went through 4 expensive trendy sippy cups to find out that his favorite are these take and toss generic, no special attachment, no handles and no sucking required, super cheap sippy cups. I thought he would choke at first because the fluid comes out much faster than from a bottle, but he didn't. He is great about taking a sip and putting it down then taking another swig, if you take it away and he is thirsty and takes it from you to take another swig. This is the best kind of sippy if you ask me, because it is the closest to drinking out of a regular cup. One day it just clicked, he didn't understand all of the ones that he has to suck, this one just funnels the juice into his mouth for easy feedings. He only drinks from it twice a day, and gets only about 1 oz of juice each time. But soon we would like to start transfering his milk over and get rid of the bottles.

Now that West has two teeth we have to start thinking about taking care of those suckers. A dentist in Canton sent us this awesome tooth brush slash teether. We give it to Weston twice a day and he actually brushes is own teeth, he loves chewing on the brissles (brissles down), he would actually chew on them all day if we didn't take it away! And...no toothpaste yet, that will be our next step very soon. For now we just want him to get used to having a brush in his mouth. I highly recommend this product!
